Sat., May 7, 2011-Fourth Photo Assignment--Light

My husband and I spent an evening in Park City for my birthday, then returned home via Heber (and stopped at the railroad) and Provo Canyon (where we took pictures of Bridal Veil Falls), then circled around back to Cache County.  From our hotel room to the streets of Park City, and onward, my husband was a good sport and posed while I practiced lighting my pictures...Here's a few samples:

Side Lighting:
F2.8    S1/200

F2.8   S1/100
Front Lighting:  (I took a lot of my pictures in the shade, where the only way you can tell there is front light is from catch lights in the eyes...but I chose a picture here you can really see the front light.)
F2.8  S1/800
These are my back lighting attempts, but the sun was really high in the sky each time...and almost seemed like TOP lighting....
F22  S 1/80

F5.6  S1/320
F2.5  S1/1600
                         Silhouette:
F6.3  S1/320
                              Reflective Surface:

F2.8  S1/2000

                  JUST FOR FUN...
