FHE-Love style....

Since Sunday was such a mess, Luzzaders came on Monday instead for dinner of sweet & sour chicken and family home evening...taught by Grandma....Loving your family....funnest parts...jumping on a heart and everyone shouting out stuff they love about you...Hudson jumped on twice!  I REALLY wanted to play Don't eat Pete, but the whole game TERRIFIED Dawson...He desperately cried "No Mama..." It was so pitiful...he really cannot stand loud noises....sometimes us.  So after the lesson and game, I had cupcakes to frost and eat...We were so happy for our company.....

Waiting for company to come.....
Yes, we still have lights--to brighten a frozen January...(often deer underneath, but have been unable to catch them in photo.)

Finally they arrive!
Here he comes!!

Ready to start the lesson....

Love....

Kisses....

Or Fun?

Take your pick....it was just a nice night with family.

SNOW DAY!

So after weeks of sub-freezing weather, an ice storm, and two days of heavy fog, we have a heavy snow with almost a new foot of snow...balmy weather...in the 20s...and I loved it....Took a snow day off work, and practiced with my camera....
So glad Bob is home to dig us out!

Chewey is dismayed at the height of the snow....

Photo Class- UofU--Creating True Emotion

Robyn and I went and stayed with Jen and Andrew Thursday night.  They made us the most wonderful bean soup, and then we played games.  We got up early in the morning and went to our photoclass.  It was so much fun, and we learned a lot!

Tending Grand Boys!

Mandy & Ross won a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, so Grandma (me) tended the Grand Little Boys...
alone--since Bob was working nights....
Getting them to bed was an issue...since I won't take them out in the -20 to drive them to sleep.
One night I used my very firm voice and said to Dawson:  "You keep your head down and go to sleep!"  Like a little snake--his head staying down--he wiggled and slid off his bed onto the floor, with a big smile on his face.  Still using my firm voice, I said, "You jump on that bed now!"
Up he popped to his feet on the bed--with the greatest smile and laugh ever---and jumped, jumped, jumped on the bed!  I couldn't help but laugh--what a clever little boy!  Playing little jokes on his grandma!  Grandma has learned to be careful with her verbage--because little boys take it literally!  Hudson is a big boy, and would go into his room and put himself to sleep.
Grandma bought Hudson Skylander Giants to entertain him while she tended.  Later we went to Hastings and got one more figure.  Bob was complaining that we bought more, and Hudson piped in, "Grandma, you just need to learn to say, "No.""  We all thought that was SO funny, and we kept throwing it up to him, until finally the next day, he modified it, "Well, sometimes you can say "no" but sometimes you should say, "yes."
We had fun, but it was tiring!

Kats--or Baby Its Cold Outside!

This week we have been extremely cold in Cache County....The lowest was probably -15 degrees....So none of us like to go out..... (We were excited when it felt balmy--it was 13 degrees....With luck it will start to warm up a LOT more)....Since cats don't want to go out, they need other entertainment....

Blonco Dream Playing Peggle on the xbox.....
Taking warm and cuddly naps.....Quite a bit!

Sometimes there are disagreements when everyone has cabin fever....
Atari...giving her serious look to the Crazy Kats!

Blonco, Watson and Atari

Birds in a bush have everyone's attention...my favorite kind of hunting, when no one gets hurt....
(We tell people having two cats is okay, but if you have three cats...you are a crazy cat lady!  Atari stayed out so much, I forgot I had one, when we got two other kittens....OH MY!  I'M A CRAZY CAT LADY!   How did that happen?

So, some days the cats have what we call Kat Madness or Kat Terrors...where they are flying off walls, racing around furniture, and attacking ANYTHING that moves--I have had the glass in a picture frame shattered, chairs tipped over, an end table crashing to the floor--halfway through my mediation....not very relaxing when you jump two feet from a big bang nearby!
Poor Chewey keeps sitting on my lap saying....PLEASE save me from those cats!  Yes, we are all hoping it warms up!

Save me from Kats!
