Jan. 15-16-First Sleepover with Gramma...

Trying to prepare Hudson for a trip with his Dad in March, we staged a sleepover with Gramma--first stop was Chick-Fil-A...playground, then shopping, then exhausted--back to Gramma's. On Sunday, he went to Church with Gramma, and his parents came that evening. Hudson greatly enjoyed his visit and mentioned he could stay longer....(made sure we had new video games, and I-Pad games...)

Sun., January 2, 2011 - After Christmas Sales=Cars!

Pappa bought Hudson a car to drive his Mariocart game in. After Christmas sales made it cheap and fun. Hudson loved it and had a lot of fun--taking very steep turns sometimes!

Happy New Year--Our Teddies!

New Year! - Mandy's Photoshoot...

We no longer need to take the children in for pictures...with Mandy's new camera, and the lighting just right...my goodness! she got beautiful pictures of our little darlings!

Fri. 12-31-10-Christmas tree protest...

I had to include one picture from the end of the year...Each year our cat is delighted with the arrival of a tree, and despite our "Scats!" climbs the middle and lies in wait....She also loves to rip our gold tinsel to pieces...and it is getting threadbare and ready for replacement. This year, when we started removing ornaments, Atari staged a sit-in to try to stop removal of the tree, without success.

Happy 2011- Burnt OUT!

Wow, it might look like I haven't been blogging, but I have been burnt out. With a whole family who is gifted at photography and have it as a hobby, and now 3 SLR digital cameras, when I started sorting out the Christmas pictures, I literally had way over 1,000 pictures to choose from...(Plus I do light editing...except for the pictures that the children had turned the knob on the camera, so we got really weird coloring--then I do heavier editing, trying to save a picture....)
Plus, my goal with blogging was to have photobook(s) of my life. So to do my life this far (through Artscow 8x8 books), it took 3 photobooks. So the time I haven't spent blogging here, I have been making the photobooks, plus I helped Mandy do the grunt work on one of her blog books. So I have been very productive and very alive...and still taking SOME pictures, but a little more restrained. (Just about ready to turn into papparazzi [sp] for my granchildren again!)
Happy 2011!!
