Sun., Oct. 31 - Sunday with Family

Pictures of Dawson and Hudson being their cute selves...Mandy's Christmas story was published in two books! Us together with our books....

Sat., Oct. 30 - Trick or Treat

Trick or Treating--Ross, Mandy, Dawson, and Hudson, Jen and Andrew, all went trick or treating at the Mall (and downtown alliance?). Hudson was shy and not wanting to do it, so they did it for a while, then went and got ice cream.

Fri., Oct. 29 - Halloween Parade

The Morningside School Halloween Parade this year featured a blue crayon--at least to us. Mommy and Dawson came, and of course, Grandma left work (across the street) to see the parade. The children went to the next door Logan Senior Citizen Center and paraded among the tables calling, "Happy Halloween!" Then the children sang Halloween songs, and returned to the school. We all had a lot of fun!

Views from my yard of the beauty of our first snow on our vibrant fall colors.

Mon., Oct. 25 - Two skies, one day

Driving to and from Downey to visit my mom, I thought the skies were especially dramatic as a storm moved in.

Sat., Oct. 23-Chris P.'s B-day!

My friend Chris Purser finally turned 50! We had dinner, visited with friends, opened her cards and gifts, and played Farkle.

Sat., Oct. 23--chicken sale

Shopping on Saturday, Robyn saw me and pointed out this "sale" on chicken. Thank goodness it was on sale!
